Application Cases and Application Areas of ETFE Membrane Heat Sealing Machine

I. Application Cases

1. Beijing Water Cube: The Water Cube, a venue for the 2008 Beijing Olympics, uses ETFE membrane material. The ETFE film is welded into an air-cushion structure using a heat-sealing machine, creating a unique architectural appearance. This structure has a light transmittance of over 90% and strong self-cleaning ability, effectively resisting wind and sand erosion, becoming a landmark application of ETFE membrane material in the architectural field.

2. Shed Center for the Performing Arts, New York: This center uses a movable shell made of ETFE membrane material, welded using a heat-sealing machine, to cover the 8-story main building. When the shell is moved outwards, it can add approximately 1,600 square meters of temporary performance or exhibition space, fully demonstrating the advantages of ETFE membrane material: lightweight and high light transmittance.

3. Eden Project, Cornwall, UK: One of the world's largest greenhouses, it consists of four interconnected dome-shaped buildings covered with transparent covers made of ETFE membrane material. These covers are welded using a heat-sealing machine, ensuring the structure's airtightness and stability, providing a suitable environment for plant growth.

II. Application Areas

1. Construction: ETFE membrane heat sealing machines are used for welding building roofs and walls, such as large stadiums, airports, and train stations, to meet lighting and insulation requirements.

2. Greenhouse: ETFE membrane heat sealing machines are used to construct agricultural greenhouses, botanical gardens, etc., promoting plant growth.

3. Energy: ETFE membrane heat sealing machines are used for flexible photovoltaic cell encapsulation, eliminating the limitations of tempered glass and enabling flexible and portable components.
